Bob Trebilcock

Principal Consultant

Bob is an award-winning journalist who has published widely in both mainstream and business magazines, and has been recognized with numerous professional awards, including a Clarion Award for magazine feature writing and several Folio Awards for business journalism.


He spent 40 years covering materials handling automation for Modern Materials Handling, where he was executive editor from 2009 until his retirement in the spring of 2024. From 2013 through 2022, he was also the editorial director of Supply Chain Management Review, known as the Harvard Business Review for senior level supply chain executives.


In addition to managing SCMR, Trebilcock launched the NextGen Supply Chain Conference, a Chicago-based event that brings together senior level supply chain executives from major corporations, and also co-created the reBound podcast with Abe Eshkenazi, the CEO of the Association for Supply Chain Management, the largest membership organization in the U.S. for supply chain managers.
